Congratulations to Queen Esther of New York, New York and Dennis Ellsworth of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada, our first two finalists chosen in this year’s 13th annual NewSong Contest, Presented by Red Jacket. They’ll be joining ten other yet-to-be-determined finalists to showcase and compete at New York’s Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday, November 15.

The 2014 NewSong Contest, Presented by Red Jacket is currently accepting submissions. This year’s live showcase and competition finals will again be held at Lincoln Center’s David Rubenstein Atrium on Saturday, November 15. Grand prizes include an EP produced and mixed by Pat Sansone (Wilco, The Autumn Defense) and recorded at Echo Mountain Recording Studios, and future appearances at Lincoln Center, Sundance and NPR’s Mountain Stage.
